Daily, 70 Killed in Syria

Syrian activists said, a wave of violence has killed more than 70 people in Syria within a day.Most of the victims were killed on Monday it was the army that attacked the military deserters in Daraa Province, southern Syria.


While in Homs, the local hospital morgue had received 19 bodies have all suffered gunshot wounds.


The regime of President Bashar al-Assad continues to dampen the political upheaval that has lasted for eight months, but the people's resistance movement was never subsided.


The United Nations estimates, more deaths from brutal military action has reached 3,500 people.


Latest death toll figures obtained from the Local Coordinating Committee activist coalition, mortuary data, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.


November was the bloodiest month during the political upheaval in Syria took place. More than 250 people died in this month alone.


Pressure on President Assad came from all sides. On Monday, King Abdullah II of Jordan asks Assad for the good of his country retreat. 


Abdullah II became the first Arab leader to retreat against the Syrian government's insistence.

Lower the Flag


A few hours after the declaration of King Abdullah II broadcast, three protesters climbed the fence directly Jordanian embassy in Damascus and down the country's flag. 


A spokesman for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, Mohammad Kayed, revealed no people entering the embassy compound and no one was hurt.

A resident near Khirbet Ghazaleh, Daraa Province, said he heard a gun battle for over four hours. He asked reporters not to mention his true identity for fear of government taken away.


Another eyewitness, who was a local activist said, he found 12 bodies of civilians killed by a bullet believed to security forces. "I saw the armored transport vehicles burned," he said via telephone.


Activist coalition calling itself the Local Coordinating Committee identified at least 50 people were killed on Monday (14/11) ago. 


While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights noted 69 killed, 34 of whom were soldiers.
